PearlDamour visits schools in all of the Miltons. In Oregon, we have been doing writing and performance workshops with Ms. Baneck’s middle school class based on the play MILTON. Here’s an interview with one of the students in that class –
How old are you?
I am a twelve year old student at Central Middle School in Milton-Freewater.
What is a dream you have for your life?
I wish to become a famous actress/singer.
What’s something new you’d like to try?
I want to travel Europe on tour someday.
What do you like about your city?
The only reason I like Milton-Freewater, Oregon, is because the rent is a LOT cheaper that Walla Walla where I used to live.
What do you want to change about your town?
I would have more talent scouts on the lookout for a young actress for a new Disney Channel movie/show.
What hopes do you have for your country?
To stop getting involved in wars/ creating nuclear bombs.
What makes me feel free?
Singing on stage at the final performance of the year at Children’s Theatre in Walla Walla.
What does the phrase “ I am an American” mean to me?
That I love hamburgers.
