We met Clay and Staton at the First Annual Street Fair. They are father and son, and both of them answered our questions:
Hi Staton, you first. You’re a student?
Yes! I love being a college student but sometimes the work can be overwhelming. It will all be worth it though when I graduate from law school.
What about you, Clay? What’s your profession?
Electronic technician! I like my co-workers and owners! Great people!
What is something you’ve never done that you hope to do?
Station – Travel the world and go fishing at various remote locations.
Clay – Travel! Go hunting out west!
What is your advice for future generations?
Staton- love each day like it is your last!
Clay- Take it one day at a time! Treat others as you want to be treated!
What does the phrase “I am an American” mean to you?
Staton- It means I get to love life each day without having to worry about losing my freedom. Thank you everyone who has served and is currently serving our country.
Clay- Freedom!
You are father and son… can you tell us something about the other?
Staton- My dad has taught me that life is not about living in the fast lane all the time.
Clay-My son is a polite and great young man! I am very proud of him!
