In each Milton, PearlDamour works with students to introduce them both to the project and to experimental theater making. In Milton, WI, Katie spent a couple hours with the kids at MECAS, an alternative High School for about 18 students. At the end of their workshop, they paired off, asked each other questions, and came up with these profiles. Questions asked by Clara.
What does it mean to you to be part of the town of Milton?
Milton is a big family. A of of people say they are going to move away but they end up coming back or never leaving.
What do you like to do in town?
Socialize and help the town of Milton. I solcialize with everyone. I help by doing community service such as helping at the schools and helping at the senior center.
What is your favorite place in Milton?
The Milton House and Schilberg park. I like the MIlton House because of the history within it. At Schilberg I release stress by playing sports.
What history of Milton do you know?
The Milton House housed slave and was a part of the underground railroad.
