In this picture I am with some theater students in my classroom. It’s a special place for me because it’s where I get to share what I love with young people. Most days the energy in the room is palpable. It’s a place of ideas, creativity, collaboration, discovery and fun.
What made you decide to teach drama to middle schoolers?
As I young kid, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, and I knew I loved theater. Teaching Drama to middle school students is a perfect blend of both passions. I am incredibly fortunate.
You don’t live in Milton, but commute there to work. Why did you choose to not live there?
Because I can’t afford it! 😉 …But also to be perfectly candid, I prefer the separation between my career and my family life. The distance is challenging in some ways, but it also provides a healthy balance.
